On the Farm

Let's see, what is happening on the farm? I took a full time position with the City of Portland this winter. 1st time in 12 years that I have worked year around. I'll miss my winter off but it's warm in the shop and I can wrench as good as most. The extra pay helps as Sara is semi retired and without benifits. So we keep all that together with me workin year round. Of course it's cold and wet as usual at this time of year. A little snow and freezing temps but really not too bad. Well so far. But with January and February amost past tense the cold seems to have little chance of bothering us. With that in mind they'll be no February trip to south of the boarder this year. Maybe in April if we want warm sandy beaches and jungle heat but maybe not until summer so we can go to a location north of the Tropic of Cancer and still be warm. Dublin in February? Probably colder than here. No thanks. Think I'll step out to the studio. Got a little guitar project I'm puttering with. Later, GD
